Jody Finazzo, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Jody Finazzo is a practicing Pediatric Dentist in Southgate Michigan and is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Finazzo is a life-long Michigan resident who grew up in the downriver area. She has been in private practice since 1998 after the completion of her Pediatric Dental Residency from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Prior to becoming a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Finazzo practiced as a general dentist for two years after earning her Dental degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy Dental School and her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
During her Pediatric Dental Residency, Dr. Finazzo completed her thesis research on the importance of educating parents regarding early childhood dental care. The research project earned several national research awards. Dr. Finazzo is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Detroit District Dental Association and the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Finazzo was recently nominated in 2010 by the readers of Metro Parent Magazine as one of the Top Mom -Approved Docs in Southeastern Michigan. She was also chosen by her peers as Detroit’s HOUR Magazines top Dentists in 2009.
Dr. Finazzo lives Downriver with her french bulldogs.
